Last night our co-founders Charles Reed and Greg Brown attended the close out of the UK Trade Partnership Program ((UKTP) hosted at the residence of the Acting British High Commissioner, Mrs Lisa Weedon. The UKTP program is designed to strengthen the export capabilities of South African enterprises and support their access to international markets. MycoSure was one of 38 local business, selected from the green tech and agricultural sectors over the last 6 years, to be part of this program.
In Africa there is a saying that it takes a village to raise a child. In our context this can be adapted to say that it takes an ecosystem to raise a business. Thank you to UK International Development, The British High Commission in Pretoria, the dti (Department of Trade and Industry: Republic of South Africa) and the International Trade Centre (ITC) for a wonderful program made even better by the opportunity to meet some amazing South African entrepreneurs and business owners.
