We’re excited to share that MycoSure has closed its second round of commercial funding, another key milestone as we move towards becoming Africa’s first commercial scale mycoprotein producer.

Co-founders Charles Reed and Greg Brown are leading the next phase of our journey, focusing on key opportunities identified during our successful proof of concept. This includes growing the MycoSure team, testing local feedstock alternatives, early engineering design for our first facility, and testing industrial scale filtration and drying solutions. We’ll also continue working closely with our food and beverage partners to test our mycoprotein in a range of product applications.

We welcome our new investors, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) C3 (SOC) Ltd, Magnitt Ventures Ltd, Assetup, ProVeg International, and Ntyrely Nsane. These investors not only contribute capital to support the growth of our business but also bring a wealth of experience and networks to complement our existing Advisors.
