Our co-founders Charles Reed and Greg Brown attended the recent Africa Climate Summit, where Charles shared MycoSure’s journey and experiences including being part of the Ninety One Business Accelerator in support of the The Earthshot Prize.
With the Summit focused on inclusive growth, shared prosperity, and building resilience, Charles spoke to the critical role of food security and how MycoSure’s mycelium-based protein platform can play a significant role in ensuring we meet the nutritional needs of future generations. Charles noted that, while the future of food challenge is a global challenge, it is especially relevant in South Africa given the disproportional impact that climate change will have in the Southern Africa region.
The SA Climate Summit stressed the need to convert ambition into action and action into meaningful impact. MycoSure is proud to be part of this community of innovators working toward a more sustainable future.
